APRIL 20, 2023 - The public received a glimpse at the future of the CLT airfield during a pair of open house meetings for the FAA Part 150 study.
The Aviation Department hosted the informational meetings on March 22 and 23. The informal, drop-in style gatherings featured displays identifying the study’s status, the work completed to date and the next steps of the process.
Interested citizens were able to view the informational boards, ask questions and share concerns with consultants and CLT staff.
Anyone interested in submitting a comment about noise compatibility measures that the Airport should consider can do so until April 24. Where/how do they do that?
More public meetings are scheduled for later this summer or early fall.
