Airport’s Community Job Fair Attracts 451 Attendees
March 18, 2016 - The Airport’s Community Job Fair drew 451 attendees on Saturday, February 27 to CLT. Employers sought to fill hundreds of open positions in retail, ground transportation, airline services, valet services, maintenance, security, parking and food and beverage.
Job seekers had the opportunity to fill out applications on-site, and many interviews were conducted that day.
Participating organizations were the Aviation Department, HMSHost, The Paradies Shops, Piedmont Airlines, AmeriPark, SP+ Parking, Wilson Air Center, Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Burger King, Jamba Juice and Carowinds. The Job Fair was held to create awareness in the community about the wide variety of jobs available at the Airport and to fill the needs of organizations to recruit and hire qualified personnel.
This was the third consecutive year that the Airport has held a job fair.
