Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is ranked among the world’s top 10 busiest airports and welcomed more than 27 million passengers with nearly 400,000 total daily arrivals and departures in 2020. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, CLT broke a record in 2019 with more than 50 million passengers, an average of 137,449 passengers a day to include 21,000 originating customers and 117,000 people who fly into CLT daily to connect with a flight to another city.
