The Runway 5K Run is a run like no other. The course is smooth and flat and filled with breathtaking views of the Airport's taxiways and runways. The course is also wheelchair accessible and baby stroller friendly. A bounce house and static aircraft displays will be on hand for children.
Since 2007, over 14,000 registrants have participated in the event, which has raised more than $193,000. Funds from the Runway 5K Run will go toward LIFESPAN's LIFEWORKS Program. LIFESPAN, a nonprofit organization, assists children and adults with developmental disabilities by providing education, employment and enrichment opportunities.
