Charlotte Douglas Opens New Cell Phone Lot
December 21, 2017- Charlotte Douglas has relocated its free Cell Phone Lot adjacent to Long Term Lot 1. The 150-space lot has one center aisle, making it easy to enter and exit. The new location allows drivers direct access to the terminal via Josh Birmingham Parkway.
Signage has been installed to designate the area to visitors.
CLT's Cell Phone Lot is used by drivers as a waiting area when picking up family and friends from the Airport.
The former Cell Phone Lot (located off Old Dowd Road) has closed and will eventually convert into Long Term Lot 1 parking spaces.
