March 19, 2018– Charlotte Douglas International Airport, along with its tenants, will host a community job fair from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 24 at the Goodwill Opportunity Campus, 5301 Wilkinson Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28208.
Due to the event's overwhelming demand, doors to the job fair will close at 2:30 p.m. Those in line will be granted access.
A variety of companies will be present to share information about current and future job opportunities for full-time, part-time, seasonal and temporary employment. Employers are seeking to fill hundreds of open positions in retail, ground transportation, airline services, valet services, maintenance, security, parking and food and beverage. Last year's job fair resulted in 250 confirmed/possible hires.
Charlotte Douglas is one of the largest employers in Mecklenburg County and is credited for directly or indirectly creating over 224,000 jobs in the region by the businesses it serves. More than 20,000 workers are employed within the terminal and surrounding airfield.

Attire for the job fair is business casual. Attendees are asked to bring multiple copies of their resume. Some applications will be available to fill out on-site and interviews may be conducted that day. Free parking will be available at the site.
