As concessionaires inside Charlotte Douglas International Airport terminal continue to reopen following the COVID-19 slowdown, the Aviation Department is hosting its first virtual job fair to help fill more than 120 vacancies.
On Saturday, Sept. 26, vendors representing restaurants and retail shops including Einstein Bros. Bagels, Smashburger, Bojangles, Queen City News and Salsarita’s will talk about job opportunities at the Airport. The virtual job fair is from 10 a.m. until noon.
“As we navigate the operational impacts of COVID-19, we are pleased to be actively recruiting team members who are eager and excited to work in one of the busiest airports in the country,” said Najla Haywood, vice president and director of communications for FDY, INC., which operates two Bojangles restaurants and a Red Mango Smoothie Factory at CLT. “We are excited about this virtual hiring event, as we expect to reach a more expansive recruitment pool than we would in person. Anyone interested in exploring opportunities in the Airport is encouraged to participate.”
Full-time, part-time, seasonal and temporary jobs are available. The companies represented include Paradies Lagardére, and small and/or minority-owned companies Denard Enterprises, Whitman-May Enterprises, FDY Inc., and Geathers Enterprises.
Space is limited, and participants must register in advance to receive a link to the event.
