Restaurants, stores, other services operating limited schedules
As our airline partners return to pre-pandemic flight schedules and passenger loads, our tenants and partners are quickly trying to hire employees to match the increased demand as more travelers fly through CLT post COVID. American Airlines has acknowledged CLT as one of its key airports for growth and recovery from the global pandemic. Some of the restaurants, stores and other services are operating limited schedules due to reduced staffing levels. We ask passengers who are beginning their trip at CLT to arrive at the TSA checkpoint three hours prior to their flight. Passengers can check real-time wait times and the status of their flights at cltairport.com.
Wheelchair assistance managed by the airlines
Due to an increase in demand for wheelchair service, advance notification to the airline of at least 24 hours is strongly advised. Passengers in need of wheelchair service are also advised to arrive early or factor in extra time for your CLT layover.
Contact your airline for ALL special assistance needs.
