Step into the future of airport luxury with Clockwork, the new robotic manicure station at Charlotte Douglas International Airport that’s transforming layovers into glamorous touch-ups. Paradies Lagardère, CLT’s retail concessionaire, is offering the latest beauty trend at Charlotte Supply Co. in The Plaza. Clockwork provides customers with a user-friendly, self-serve manicure that is quick, easy, affordable and as eye-catching as any spa manicure.
For just $15, customers can sit down with Clockwork and be in and out of the seat in as little as 10 minutes. While getting a manicure from a robot might seem intimidating, it’s quite simple. Clockwork will guide you through the process step-by-step with instructional videos. If additional assistance is needed, a store employee or virtual tech is available to help.
The process is easy: prep, learn and paint. First, scan the QR code in-store to book your appointment and pay online. Once seated at the machine, you will begin by filing your nails and removing any previous polish with the tools provided. Then, relax your hand inside the machine and watch it work its magic! With over 30 color options including rotating seasonal colors, you can match your nails to any mood.
Clockwork uses laser technology to paint nails precisely, so it’s important to sit as still as possible for a picture-perfect manicure. Your mani will last up to two weeks, making it perfect for any occasion, from a relaxed weekend to a formal destination wedding.
As CLT continues to grow, more robotic stations may be added throughout the Airport. Stay tuned, and happy painting.
