Three Airlines Adding New Air Service

Sept. 30, 2022 - Get the bags packed. Three airlines are launching new service from CLT this fall.

Contour Airlines will begin flights to four destinations in November and December:

Shenandoah Valley Airport (SHD) in Weyers Cave, Va., on Nov. 1
Greenbrier Valley Airport (LWB) in Lewisburg, West Va., on Nov. 1
North Central West Virginia Airport (CKB) in Clarksburg, W. Va., on Dec. 1
Barkley Regional Airport (PAH) in West Paducah, Ky., on Dec. 6.

If tickets are purchased by Oct. 31, the airline is offering $49 each way.

Spirit Airlines kicks off daily flights at Charlotte Douglas to New York City’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA) on Nov. 1 and to Miami International Airport (MIA) on Nov. 7.

American Airlines starts service from Mineta San Jose International Airport (SJC) in San Jose, Calif., on Oct. 6 and Grand Bahama International Airport (FPO) in Freeport, Bahamas, on Nov. 5.
