New air service lands next month at CLT. Here’s a snapshot of what’s to come.

• Sun Country Airlines starts commercial air service April 2 to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) on Mondays and Fridays.
• Spirit Airlines kicks off daily, nonstop flights to Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW), Nashville (BNA), Los Angeles (LAX) and Boston (BOS) on April 5.
• Frontier Airlines begins service May 12 to Cleveland (CLE). Flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
• American Airlines will launch a third daily flight to London Heathrow (LHR) on April 3 and introduce seasonal service to Santa Ana, Calif. (SNA) July 5 - Aug. 14.
• American also is resuming daily service to Paris (CDG) from June 2 through Sept. 5.
