As Labor Day approaches, Charlotte Douglas International Airport is excited to announce its partnership with Edge4Vets to prepare and connect veterans, National Guard, transitioning military service personnel and their spouses to employment opportunities at the fifth busiest airport in the world.
Registration is underway for Edge4Vets free career workshop series, which includes two 90-minute Zoom sessions taking place:
- 1– 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6 and
- 1– 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20
The sessions will help participants translate military strengths and leadership experiences into tools to get hired. Upon completion, veterans will speak to CLT human resources representatives about Airport jobs that match their skills. Visit Edge4Vets.com to register.

The Edge4Vets program is offered by the Human Resiliency Institute at Fordham University in New York. It has been implemented in eight states in the U.S. since 2011. More than 2,500 veterans and service personnel have completed the program and are now working for banks, pharma, media companies and eight other airports throughout the country.
