Oct. 26, 2021 - Charlotte Douglas International Airport is giving the public an opportunity to learn about and comment on the Revised Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for Proposed Capacity Enhancement Projects on Monday, Nov. 8.
The new plan calls for shifting the proposed 4th parallel runway 100 feet to the east. It is the only modification between two alternatives presented in June. Since the publication of the draft EA on April 16, 2021, CLT made the decision to change its proposed action.
During the November virtual meeting, the Airport will review the potential impacts anticipated due to each alternative as previously evaluated in the April draft EA. The public meeting begins at 2:30 p.m. with a presentation, followed by the public hearing at 3:30 p.m.
