Sept. 30, 2022 - Veterans and their spouses can jump-start landing a job at the Airport by attending Edge4Vets’ two free Zoom career workshops:
- 1– 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6 and
- 1– 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 20

Charlotte Douglas is the first Airport in the Carolinas to partner with Edge4Vets to prepare and connect veterans, National Guard, transitioning military service personnel and their spouses to employment opportunities at CLT.
The sessions will help participants translate military strengths and leadership experiences into tools to get hired. Upon completion, veterans will speak to CLT Human Resources representatives about Airport jobs that match their skills.
“This program is a great fit for the Airport that will only strengthen our workforce,” said CLT’s CEO/Aviation Director Haley Gentry. “CLT has a proven track record of veterans who have thrived as employees and made valuable contributions to our operations. We look forward to more of those success stories at Charlotte Douglas.”
More than 2,500 veterans and service personnel in eight states have completed the workshop series and are now working for banks, pharma, media companies and eight other airports throughout the country.
