New Destinations Coming Soon
Come fly away. New flights are coming to CLT.
American Airlines begins daily service to El Paso, Texas, and Columbus, Ga., on Aug. 17. Air Canada resumes nonstop flights seven times a week to Toronto on Sept. 7. Spirit Airlines starts daily service on Sept. 8 to Las Vegas. And, beginning Oct. 4, Delta Air Lines will launch three daily flights to Boston. It’s Time for Dunkin’
Dunkin’ is opening this fall at CLT. Passengers will be able to satisfy their sweet tooth with glazed, chocolate, lemon and a variety of other delicious donut flavors.
Coffee, lattes, iced drinks and breakfast sandwiches also will be on the menu.
Other new concessions coming soon to CLT are Charlotte-based Sycamore Brewing, Gameway (provides gaming stations while waiting for your flight), Uptown Exchange (news and gifts), PDQ (serves chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches and fresh salads) and Common Space (counter culture coffee).

Runway 5K Returns
It’s back. Registration is open for CLT’s Runway 5K scheduled for 7:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 23. Runners and walkers will enjoy a new course, completely on the airfield. The cost is $30 and increases after Aug. 29. Youth 12 and under can sign up with an adult for $15.
The Runway 5K provides amazing views along a flat course that is wheelchair and stroller accessible.
Proceeds from the event fund Central Piedmont Community College Airport Opportunity Scholarships, which promote aviation-related careers, as well as, economic opportunities in Charlotte.
Express Deck Available for Online Booking
The Express Deck (formerly Business Valet) is available to book online at parkCLT.com or on the CLT Airport app. Located at the corner of Wilkinson Boulevard and Harlee Avenue, the cost is $14 daily. Product availability may vary depending on arrival date and length of stay.
Bookings must be made six hours in advance. Currently, Express Deck is not accepting drive-up traffic.

Food Trucks Return to the Overlook
Food Trucks have returned Friday through Sunday at the Airport Overlook, weather permitting. There are a variety of food options including burritos, wings, hot dogs, fries, donuts, sandwiches and BBQ.
Drop by for not only great airfield views, but delicious food from local businesses as well.
