March 24 - Effective at 7 p.m. today (March 24, 2020) Employee Lots 1 and 2 and Business Valet tenant parking will temporarily close.

March 20 - Beginning Monday, March 23, 2020, all passenger parking at Charlotte Douglas International Airport will move temporarily to the Hourly Deck. All other passenger lots will close to incoming vehicles.

March 17 - The Airport remains open and operational. COVID-19 remains a very serious public health threat that we continue to monitor and adjust for as required.

March 12 - The national office for the USO announced its intent to close its airport USO locations to ensure the safety and health of staff and volunteers and to avoid unnecessary risks of exposure to COVID-19 coronavirus. This includes Charlotte Douglas International Airport.

March 12 - Additional protocols have been added -- on top of the normal 24/7 airport housekeeping --to monitor cleanliness and the availability of supplies for proper handwashing and hand sanitizing. The Airport housekeeping provider also is hiring new staff daily.

March 9 - CLT received notification from the South Carolina Department of Environmental Health and Control (SCDHEC) regarding a Spartanburg County resident who flew through CLT on his way home from Italy.
